POSITIVE 2001 RESULTS FOR INFORMER
A significant increase of 68.1% was posted by the INFORMER Group’s turnover for the financial year of 2001 and came to 41 million euros (14 billion Drs) as opposed
to 24.4 million euros in 2000 (8.3 billion Drs.).
The pre tax profits of the Group came to 11.2 million euros (3.8 billion Drs), thereby marking an increase of 9.4% in comparison with the profits of the previous financial year of 10.3 million euros (3.5 billion. Drs.).
But turnover for the parent company of INFORMER SA also posted an increase of 51% and came to 19.7 million euros (6.7 billion Drs) from 13.0 million euros (4.4 billion Drs) for the previous financial year. Profits posted an increase of 16%, and came to 5.0 million euros (1.7 billion Drs) as opposed to 4.3 million euros (1.4 billion Drs.) in 2000.
On the basis of the budget for the Group’s companies for 2002 but also with the figures of the date for the first two months, turnover will also post a significant increase in the current financial year.
