INCREASE OF 83% IN TURNOVER, 38% IN PROFITS
The turnover of INFORMER SA posted a significant increase in the order of 83% in the 3rd quarter of 2001, in comparison with the corresponding length of time for the
previous financial year, and comes to 4,553 million Drs as opposed to 2,486 million Drs.
The increase in turnover by INFORMER SA is also accompanied by a rise in pre tax profits, which increased by 38% and came to 1016 million Drs as opposed to 738 million Drs in the previous financial year.
Equally satisfactory are the consolidated results for the INFORMER Group. Turnover posted an increase of 57% and came to 10,211 million Drs., as opposed to 6,502 million Drs for the previous period. The net profits for the Group came to 2,998 million Drs as opposed to 2,578 million Drs for the previous period, posting an increase of 16%.
The results are judged as being satisfactory despite the subdued rates of growth in the Greek Information Technology market such as these are confirmed by the results that have been announced by a significant number of companies in the sector for the 3rd quarter period from January to September 2001.
