INFORMER S.A. UNDERTAKES THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE INSTALLATION OF BANKING SOFTWARE AT MOLDOVA AGROINDBANK S.A.
INFORMER S.A. in cooperation with temenos eastern europe ltd, in which is participating by 49%, signed a contract with moldova agroindbank s.a., for the installation
and adaptation of the globus™ banking system of temenos.
moldova agroindbank s.a. is a private commercial bank established in 1991 at Kishinev. It has by now 43 branches all over Moldavia and occupies 1000 employees.
It is the 3rd biggest financial institute in Moldavia following the Ministry of Finance and Moldavia National Bank.
It handles the 30% of Country’s financial market.
To paint up its picture we can say that in the banking sector it handles 28% in assets, 26% in cash, 28% in regulatory capital, 33% in loans and 26% in deposits.
The agreement signed in September 2000 and it is for about US $ 2M.
The project includes the installation and adaptation of temenos globus™ in all the sectors of the bank’s operations and all the branches as well as in the central offices for retail and commercial banking.
Specifically the installation includes integrated applications for: Accounts, Customers, Loans (Collaterals and Limits), Logistics and Profitability analysis, and last but not least for a full MIS.
More over INFORMER shall provide and install Internet Banking System based on its b-direct and the integration with ATM’s network.
The whole project will be in operation within 2001.
