PORTO CARRAS COMPLEX SELECTS HIS LODGINGTOUCH F.OFFICE
SYSCO S.A. subsidiary company of Informer Group today announced an agreement with Porto Carras Complex ,owned by Techniki Olympiaki S.A
The Complex has three hotels with a total of 1.000 rooms capacity (Meliton Beach, Sithonia Beach, Village Inn), marina for 200 yachts ,18- hole golf course, casino and about 50 outlets scattered in the complex.
The agreement includes:
- Installation, training and support of the H.I.S. LodgingTouch Front Office Software System of Hotel Information System Corp. from USA, which SYSCO is exclusive Distributor for Greece, Cyprus and the Balkans.
- Installation, training and support of the EPIKOUROS TouchPOS Software System that SYSCO develops and will cover all the Point of Sales Departments of the Complex and their on-line connection with the main system H.I.S LodgingTouch.
SYSCO will install HIS 3rd generation software solutions which works in modern databases MS SQL Server and modern development tools PowerBuilder.
The last 10 years, SYSCO holds a leading position in PMS Hotel Market having computerized more than 100 hotels and chains like Athens Intercontinental, Athens Metropolitan (e.x. Chandris), Divani Group of Hotels, Helios Chain (owned by Mantonanakis Family), Athens Novotel, Athens Park.
According to the President and Managing Director Mr. Charis Filaretopoulos, “the combination of Informer’s participation in the share-capital of our company, the HIS 3rd generation new products and the trust which our customers have towards our new products, guarantee our company’s success which we plan to have an turnover increase of 200% revenue for the year 2001.
During the year 2001, Sysco installed HIS new products in Saint George Lycabettus Hotel, Montana Club and has signed contracts with 10 Hotels and hotel Chains , which will implement during 2001.
