INFORMER S.A. AGREEMENT WITH UNITED BULGARIAN BANK TO IMPLEMENT e-BANKING SYSTEM
INFORMER S.A. has agreed to provide and implement an e-Banking system to the UNITED BULGARIAN BANK.
This is the third project, which INFORMER S.A. has undertaken for the bank, after the agreements for the installation of TEMENOS GLOBUS (signed on February 2001) and the installation and parameterization of the Credit Cards and ATMs administration S/W (started on April 2001).
This new project continues the successful cooperation, which was already established between INFORMER S.A. and UNITED BULGARIAN BANK. The Bank obtains a leading position in the financial market of Bulgaria, with 120 branches. It was founded in 1992 and it was the result of the merging of 22 former independent state merchant banks. The UNITED BULGARIAN BANK was the first large banking organization of the public sector of Bulgaria, which was privatized in 1997. The National Bank of Greece owns the 89,9 % of the capital shares of the bank.
The new agreement was signed in 2001 and the total value of the project is 500.000 USD.
