INFORMER S.A. POSITIVE RESULTS FOR THE 1ST QUARTER OF 2002
INFORMER S.A. continues to grow steadily and publish good results, as in Q1 of 2002 sales surged by 27% to reach €4.8 million (€4,795,133) against €3.7 million
(€3,766,764) in Q1 of 2001.
Profits in the same period rose by 12% to reach €1.3 million (€1,295,349), whereas same time last year they figured at €1.1 million (€1,143,228).
Group profits also improved by 12%, now reaching €1.7 million (€1,664,872), compared to €1.5 million (€1,473,625) last year. Group sales managed to hold last year’s levels and reached €9.0 (€9,084,163 in 2002, €9,057,931 in 2001), despite the global crisis in Informatics.
By setting forth its plan to expand and further reinforce its presence in the European Market by means of its affiliate ARTEMIS S.A. in Luxembourg, the company will pursue to increase its share in participations within other companies of similar object.
The company’s other affiliate, the recently formed INFORMER CYPRUS S.A., seated in Nicosia and operating in Cyprus, has shown positive signs in the local market and is now targeting the markets of the Middle East.
For INOFRMER S.A., fiscal and other assets, juxtaposed with the course of sales until nowadays, set the path for increased financial result at the end of 2002.
